Designation : Prospect Research Specialist - EMEA Region
Job Description :
Purpose
Research and develop standard prospect account profiles for 3 tiers of targets, Strategic Prospect Account, Vertical Market Prospects and Solution Targeted Account List.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing a working knowledge of industries, prospect accounts, various databases of services, and other sales tools that can be used to aide and provide quality information about a prospect.
Build and maintain prospect lists for their assigned territory.

Assigned to a particular geography and responsible for researching and finding new sales tools, databases, and methods to gather good, high quality prospect information.
Utilize the Internet/and web sites as a way to gather good, high quality contact information.
Build a strong rapport with their respective teams and over time, become recognized for the geography expertise.
On a monthly/quarterly basis execute 1-2 projects to conduct specific account research for a new product or industry solution.
Act as the focal point and coordinator for gathering specific prospect information for their respective Lead Generation teams.
Assist Corporate Marketing in building a high quality prospect base that can be utilized by Corporate or Field marketing to conduct additional marketing campaigns and programs.
Determine and weed out bad prospect data and information to ensure that there is high data integrity in all marketing research/prospect data.
Desired Profile
Key Requirements For Success
Ability to converse fluently in either the German, French or Spanish language in addition to English is required.
Proven track record in achieving success in 1-2 years out of a school a plus.
Individual must have a marketing research background. Ideal candidate would have a marketing degree with a focus in IT technology.
A recent college graduate with excellent PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Internet search tools and capabilities will be a big plus.
Individual must have a demonstrated ability to get on the phone and conduct the necessary market research to validate and find good, high quality prospect names, email addresses and phone numbers.
Individual must be results-oriented, willing to take on very quantitative objectives and track their activities on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Familiarity with weighting the values of contact information, etc. would be helpful.
Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills and a real self-starter.
Proven track record in achieving success in 1-2 years out of a school a plus.
Individual must learn to become versed in reading on-line daily/weekly/monthly publications to identify and look for potential new companies for their marketing and sales team to go after.
A high sales orientation is a plus.
