The Head Start growing up years have seen good days as also the dark and dreary side. And Fate kept happening. Each passing year, from 1984 when the seeds for Head Start Montessori were first sown in a garage by Samina Mahmood and her late husband, the Montessori has chugged along, always chin up.

In June 2004, Head Start moved to their new environs in 4th Block Koramangala. That fine Sunday morning when BDA Commissioner, Mr. Jayakar Jerome cut open the ribbon, Samina Mahmood's smile said it all.
