The Campus
The Parkwood campus is spread across a vast area of 32 acres and provides for a tiered academic block, administrative buildings, the residential area and an exclusive area earmarked for the diverse sports activities the school offers.

The classrooms are large and airy with plenty of natural light. Special attention to acoustics minimizes noise and disturbance while classes are in progress.

The spacious dorms have plenty of storage space with a modern recreation room for each dorm block. Modern dining facilities include the dining hall, kitchen, bakery, pantries and storage areas, and a captive bottled water plant. The meals are wholesome and interesting, with menus drawn up in consultation with the students to ensure that children enjoy their food. And all this is in the hands of a professional caterer to eventually 'deliver' healthy and hygienic food.

Interestingly, staff at Parkwood dines with the children, as do all visiting parents.

A massive area of 6000 sq. ft has been set aside for the school library, organized into multiple sections. Students have access to a wide range of encyclopedias, dictionaries, books of general interest, fiction, classic, magazines, videos, CD ROMs, sports videos, games, films, music and what have you. For entertainment or an event, there is an open-air amphitheatre and a separate air-conditioned auditorium to seat 1500 is planned in Phase 2. The use of technology is a key focus area in all aspects at Parkwood. Apart from an advanced computer resource lab for academics, networked computer stations provide students and teachers a host of benefits.

With the type of medical facilities available on campus, parents needn't worry about their children when they are at school. Parkwood has in-house a well-equipped hospital (including x-ray equipment, basic pathology lab, etc), a doctor in residence, adequate nursing staff and an ambulance. Dental facilities included.

A panel of specialist doctors is on call from Hyderabad to take care of any emergencies. While first aid and treatment are provided in all circumstances, in case of any serious illness, children can be transferred to a city hospital.
