Born in the USA...

 
Three Computer Science graduates from Virginia Tech. University sat down to draft their blueprint in 1991. All they had was just one simple, yet elegant plan. To create the best software products, at the best value, in order to help businesses be more successful. Bijal Mehta, Sanjay Shah and Ali Jani had just one role model. Bill Gates. And their aim? Pretty high. To be another Microsoft.

The idea must have sent guffaws down the valley, the alley or even the prairie. Atrocious. Unthinkable. Impossible. "Who are these crazies?" someone surely must have asked. The Indian Software industry rode on the high horses of software services and no one in their right mind would think of making a product out of India.

Yet, this trio did just that. And they were anything but crazy.

And so, Icode went on to establish their company headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia and in the mid-90s they set up their R&D facility in Electronics City, Bangalore. A few years later they moved to their own premises in Koramangala.

Thus began a long journey...
