Ask me the question as to what we have achieved in these three years, and I'll end up telling you another story. But to cut a long story short let me just give you the gist.
These have been trying times. We've had our share of ups and downs like anybody else. When the dotcom bust happened most opined that Koramangala.com would fold up. The reasons? Well, I must say I'm surprised at the yardstick people often use to judge us. We were small and there's no secret to that. We didn't have the Big Bucks, which is an undeniable fact. We weren't an organization and no heavyweights backing us, which in some ways is true. In contrast bigger players with deep pockets slipped and fell. Apply logic and Koramangala.com is as dead as a dodo. So it would seem.
I think where we scored was in not trying to live up to the Jones'. We didn't go overboard with claims of all that we could do and kept our services within sensible limits. If you asked us for the moon, we'd show it to you. "See? It's up there". But if you asked us to get you a piece of it, then we'd say, "Sorry pal, why don't you try someone else?" that sort of thing. We intended to run a website that was realistic in what it offered.
Another positive factor that emerged was we made many new friends, met lot of people and over the three years our traffic has grown significantly bringing new customers. Make that "More Satisfied Customers". Our personalized service has been the mainstay and all our customers (most of whom are from the US and other countries) have appreciated our excellent services.
