I recently bought an accelerator cable for my bike from the S.V.Automobiles, Madivala for Rs. 35.00.

I noticed that he had cleanly wiped out the price printed on the cover - on previous occasions, I had felt that the printing had fallen/rubbed off accidentally, but this time it aroused my curiosity - so I verified the price of the same product with another shop and found that the actual printed cost was just Rs. 25.00!

It is 'just' Rs. 10 or 40% of the cost - depending on how you look at it, but one thing is quite clear - this guy is out to cheat the public. Beware!
